Richard created The Pinestraw Guys to make the purchase of pinestraw safe, easy, and secure for residents of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, SC. The Pinestraw Guys have since expanded into other markets in the low country. Richard has spent the last 15 years of his landscape career working in various capacities from Account Manager to Branch Manager in companies all over the southeast. He continuous his work in the landscape industry by working with local landscape companies along the coast in various roles and projects. Richard also works to educate homeowners on the importance of water conservation in landscaping and the need to protect our local waters.

As a mother of two, and a former partner of a successful landscape company in TN, Maribel knows what it takes to run a family and a business. As co-owner of The Pinestraw Guys, Maribel commits her time and resources to local schools and charities in Bluffton and Hilton Head. She is also an avid supporter of The Team 5 Foundation which provides medical outreach to countries in Central America. Maribel's fluent in Spanish and English. When she's not dedicating her time to her children's education and activities, she spends her free time at the beach with her family and creating beautiful flower arrangements.

Deliveries - Richard II
Richard is the son of Richard and Maribel. He attends May River HS. He delivers orders of pinestraw on the weekends for tuition. His goal is 40,000 bales delivered annually over the next two years for his tuition at Georgia Tech. We built The Pinestraw Guys to teach our children the value of hard work, business, and giving back to the community. Future leader in the making.
