Sometimes we have issues with availability, weather, etc. You will always be notified in advance when these delays occur.
There is a $3 restocking fee per bale if we have to take back bales that you ordered online without an estimate. If we have bales left over from our estimate, we will restock the bales for free and reduce the quantity on your billing. If you cancel your order, you will be charged a restocking fee for bales pulled from our inventory.

We average 60 sf per bale at 3” for overlays and 40-50 sf for new installs. Our quotes are based on measured square footage divided by 45 sf. This gives us a bale count that is multiplied by the cost per bale published on our website.
You will receive an email with an order confirmation. Simultaneously, we receive a notification that an order has been placed. Someone will contact you at the number listed to schedule your installation or delivery and provide your delivery number for tracking purposes.
All sales are final. The Pinestraw Guys will issue refunds if we are unable to fulfil orders within two weeks of the order date. We will not issue refunds on orders that are out for delivery or installation. Any refunds issues will be processed on the last day of the month.
Measure the length by the width of the landscape bed that needs pinestraw. Divide the result by 45sf for new installs or by 60sf to cover existing pinestraw. For circles, measure the diameter in feet and multiple by 3.14. Divide by 60 to cover existing pinestraw.

This depends on the type of pinestraw you put down and the amount of sunlight your landscape beds receive. Longleaf pinestraw will typically keep its color longer due to an increased resin content. Pinestraw exposed to full sun all day typically loses its color faster than pinestraw in the shade.
Our straw is 90% free of leaves, limbs, and pinecones. Due to the nature of harvesting pinestraw, there will occasionally be debris collected in the straw. We do not guarantee that our pinestraw is debris free. If you have a roll that contains an excessive amount of debris, please contact us and we will make it right.
