Our bagged pine straw offers a more convenient alternative. Instead of gripping tightly bound bales, you can move the bag around your yard using a wheelbarrow, garden cart, or hand truck and distribute the pine straw where you need it.

One Bag Equals Six Traditional Bales

Each bag contains approximately 60 pounds of premium longleaf pine straw — equivalent to six traditional bales. That means fewer individual bundles to handle and a convenient way to transport larger quantities of pine straw around your property. These bags slide with ease from any of the four corner handles. Unlike tightly compressed pine straw bales, our bagged pine straw is not compressed or matted together. The needles remain loose and easier to separate, making it simpler to distribute the straw evenly throughout your landscape beds. No struggling to pull apart tightly packed clumps. A More Environmentally Friendly Alternative

Traditional pine straw bales are commonly tied with plastic twine or rope that must be cut, collected, and discarded. Our bagged pine straw eliminates the need for individual bale twine and rope, reducing that source of plastic waste and keeping discarded ties out of your landscape. It's a smarter way to enjoy natural pine straw while reducing unnecessary waste.

How does it work?

• Order your pinestraw online by clicking on the "Order Pinestraw" button. 
• Select "Bagged Pinestraw". 
• Follow the instructions on the screen. 
• Hit "Send Request" 
• There is a $20 deposit for each bag. When you place your order again for the spring or fall, we will deliver your new straw in new bags and take away the bags from your previous order. 
• If you elect to discontinue service for next season, your bags will be picked up and your deposit refunded.
• The bags are easy to fold and can be stored within one bag out of the way. Or use the bags around the house to move lawn debris, limbs, etc.
